A Celebration in the Fight Against America’s Mental Health Crisis

Psychiatric & Behavioral Health Solutions is celebrating! That’s because we’ve expanded our practice: more therapists, more comprehensive treatment areas, and more access. And we’re announcing this exciting news right here with the launch of our new website.

But the celebration is as much for and about you as it about P&BHS, because the United States is facing a mental health crisis. Approximately 20% of adults are experiencing a mental illness, and that’s equivalent to nearly 50 million Americans. About 5% of those are experiencing a severe mental illness.

The pandemic caused an unprecedented number of deaths, riddled people with fear, uncertainty, and self-doubt increasing the stresses on children, adolescents, and adults. In an article entitled “America’s Public Health Crisis” published in Pew Center for Research’s Trend Magazine, Dr. Thomas Insel, a psychiatrist and neuroscientist and former director of the National Institute of Public Health, writes, “Anxiety and depression have become a new public health threat for Americans of all ages … we have the tools to resolve this crisis through better engagement, quality care, and a focus on people and recovery.”

And that’s where we come in. By expanding our practice, there are more of us. We can provide more hours of access to more of you who suffer to any extent with any of the mental health conditions afflicting Americans today.

We are ready to engage and have been.

We are providing quality care – now not only exclusively through Dr. Steven Budoff but also now through his team whom he meticulously vetted and hand-picked.

And we are focused on you. We’re standing by your side through your recovery. That often means small wins that come from doing the reps that help you manage and cope.

We want you to feel comfortable opening up about your condition because we know we can help.

We want you to speak out to us, not hide in the shadows, where you will be isolated from friends and loved ones and professionals like us who can provide support.

All told, we feel our expanded practice is good cause to celebrate. For you. For us. And in the war against the mental health crisis that plagues our country. We thank you for putting your trust in us and to Barbara Mannino of Barbara Mannino Content Marketing LLC and Emmanuel Xidias of BiggerFish Marketing for making this website possible.
